Evening Format: September 11 – November 1, 2029. Students may choose either the Week Intensive or Evening format for whichever course they take. Both formats cover the same course content and count equally toward program completion.
Class Synopsis
The Call, The Church, The Commission:
Explores God's call on every believer, the Church's role in His redemptive mission, and our shared responsibility to make disciples. This course equips students to embrace the Great Commission by living as faithful disciples who develop and multiply disciples in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Studying the Word of God:
Equips students with practical tools for reading, interpreting, and applying Scripture with confidence and faithfulness. Through hands-on study methods, students will learn to rightly handle God's Word and allow it to shape their lives, leadership, and ministry.
Old Testament Overview
Introduces students to the overarching narrative, structure, and key themes of the Old Testament, providing a framework for understanding how its books fit together. By exploring God's unfolding story of redemption, students will gain the context needed to read, interpret, and apply the Old Testament with greater confidence.
New Testament Survey:
Takes a closer look at each book of the New Testament, examining its historical context, purpose, audience, and key theological themes. Students will gain a practical framework for interpreting the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation with greater clarity and confidence.
Essential Theology:Â
Introduces students to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith and their significance for everyday life and leadership. Through the study of core biblical beliefs, students will develop a deeper understanding of God's character, His redemptive plan, and how sound theology shapes faithful discipleship, ministry, and church leadership.
Communicating the Word of God:
Equips students to faithfully and effectively communicate Scripture through preaching, teaching, and everyday discipleship. Students will develop practical skills for preparing, presenting, and applying God's Word in ways that are biblically sound, engaging, and relevant to their audience.
Apologetics:
Equips students to confidently defend the Christian faith with truth, grace, and wisdom. Students will explore common questions and objections to Christianity while learning to engage in meaningful conversations and articulate a compelling biblical worldview in today's culture.
Christian Leadership and Ethics:Â
Explores the biblical principles of Christ-centered leadership and ethical decision-making in ministry, the marketplace, and everyday life. Students will develop the character, discernment, and practical leadership skills needed to lead with integrity, humility, and faithfulness in every sphere of influence.
Care for Self, Care for Others:Â
Equips students to cultivate spiritual, emotional, and relational health while caring for the needs of others. Through biblical principles and practical tools, students will learn to lead from a place of wholeness, build healthy relationships, and provide Christ-centered care in both ministry and everyday life.
